The BIM System

Here I post a sin­gle image, in which I’m try­ing to explain the whole BIM range. Of course, there isn’t every­thing in detail, and maybe there are some items that you wouldn’t con­sid­er, but even so, I think it shows the com­plete build­ing life­cy­cle man­aged with BIM. BIM is not only a piece of soft­ware, not even only a vir­tu­al con­struc­tion sim­u­la­tor, though with­out vir­tu­al con­struc­tion there’s no BIM. And it’s impor­tant to under­stand, that with­out a pow­er­ful use­ful of BIM dur­ing the facil­i­ties oper­a­tion life, where orga­ni­za­tions spend loads of mon­ey, we’d have hard­er con­vinc­ing con­struc­tors, com­pa­nies, and oth­er stake­hold­ers to work with BIM. Aquí dejo una úni­ca ima­gen, en el que tra­to de explicar el alcance com­ple­to de BIM. Por supuesto, no es todo en detalle, y tal vez hay algunos ele­men­tos que no con­sid­er­arías, pero aún así, creo que mues­tra el ciclo de vida com­ple­to del edi­fi­cio ges­tion­a­do con BIM. BIM no es sólo una pieza de soft­ware, ni siquiera sólo un sim­u­lador vir­tu­al de la con­struc­ción, aunque sin la con­struc­ción vir­tu­al no hay BIM. Y es impor­tante enten­der, que sin una util­i­dad de gran alcance de BIM durante la vida de uso de los inmue­bles, donde las orga­ni­za­ciones gas­tan un mon­tón de dinero, ten­dríamos más difí­cil con­vencer a los con­struc­tores, empre­sas y otras partes intere­sadas para tra­ba­jar con BIM.
